ECO4 Funding

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government scheme to make houses in the UK more energy efficient. 

The ECO4 scheme means that medium and large gas and electricity suppliers are obliged to provide funding to help households install energy efficiency measures.  

These include solar photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps and boiler replacement. They're all designed to help save people money on their energy bills, keep homes warmer and help to reduce carbon emissions.

Under ECO,  grants are available to cover all or part of the cost of energy efficiency measures for all homeowners.

Some of the current measures are: 

• Solar Photovoltaic panels

• Air Source Heat Pumps

• A-rated Gas Boiler Replacement

If you receive any of the following benefits you could be eligible for ECO funding:

• Income based Jobseekers Allowance
• Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
• Income Support
• Pension Credit Guarantee
• Working Tax Credit
• Child Tax Credit
• Universal Credit
• Housing Benefit
• Pension Credit Savings
