Solar PV

Solar PV & Energy Storage Systems

A Solar PV and battery storage system from Four Seasons Energy really is an investment you need to consider for your home with a solid return on your investment (ROI) and the opportunity to future proof your electricity pricing, by simply converting the suns energy into direct electricity.

Today, having solar panels means:

  • reducing your electricity bills
  • improving the EPC rating
  • increase the desirability of your property when you sell
  • improving your carbon footprint

Furthermore, you’re moving energy generation from mass production sites to your very own property, becoming your own ‘prosumer’ – a combination on a producer and consumer!

Solar panels  offer you free energy from sunlight, but what happens if you don’t use all the electricity you generate if you can no longer sign up to a feed in tariff (ie: sell it back to the big energy companies)?  Now you can store any unused energy you generate to use later with our energy storage option which can be added onto any of our solar panel installations.

With an app based monitoring system, you are able to keep a check on your solar energy generation and use, in real time.

Be assured, our installation partners are MCS certified, HIES accredited and an EPVS member and use high quality components.

Cost of Solar PV

Fitting solar panels to your property could cost you less than you think. We supply high quality ‘tier 1’ panels, such as Sharp, which carry a minimum

25 year warranty and high quality energy storage units, such as, SunSynk.

As soon as fitting is complete you can begin to enjoy the benefits of solar energy, so your investment starts paying you back straight away.

As a guide, a typical  3 bedroomed semi-detached house (4kw system) costs less than £9,000 which includes the energy storage unit.  Finance options are available - please ask.

What happens next?

Contact us and we will undertake a free, no obligation survey and give you a price which includes solar panels, energy storage unit, scaffolding and installation.  If you choose to go ahead then our installers would need to access your loft space and external roof (and also install scaffolding).  We can fit to both tile and slate roofs.

The solar panels are mounted externally on a load bearing frame on your roof.  In the majority of cases we remove a few tiles to mount the frame to your existing roof timbers.  Mounting rails are then attached to the frame and the solar panels then attached to the rails.

We’ll access your loft to install the invertor – which is the tool that converts the solar energy into useable electricity for your home.

Finally all roof work is weatherproofed and inspected.

Complete installation of a standard system* generally takes less than a day!

*based on a 3 bed semi-detached property.
